The Lakeshore

With Lake Huron right in town, I always encourage seniors to go the beach for some pics. I love how John's fall beach photos turned out- he proves that beach pictures aren't just for the summer!

The Wildcat Stadium

John's a multi-sport varsity athlete, and so he naturally wanted to get some photos at the Alpena High School stadium- so we did. I think that if your sport is important to you, and a part of your high school experience and identity, you should definitely take time during your senior photos to get some sports portraits. I recommend wearing some of the gear, but not the full uniform for a more casual portrait. If you want to try something a little bit different, put the uniform on for some action shots- I know you get sports pics each season, so we'll make sure that your senior photos are different!

Downtown Alpena

I need to point out John's perfect clothing for the downtown look- jeans and a gray tee shirt. Really. Keeping the clothes true to what you'd wear everyday, and in solid, muted colors means that in the portrait, the clothes seem to not matter and all the focus is on you.

Vintage Studio

John's parents wanted a portrait to match the senior photos from his father and grandfather, so he put on a suit (good move!) and we did a few classic senior headshots to match the pose and style of the older pictures.
